In developing www.fi.nl much care has been given to the user-friendliness. This site is now the third version of the site since 2004. The France Individuelle site of won 4th position at the 2004 usability awards. The current site is fully focused on clarity, fuctionality and intuitive search. In late 2008 the site underwent a complete metamorphosis. The site now runs on an entirely new booking system that provides maximum flexibility for real-time availability display (without delay) but also different periods in which you can book. In some houses you can see both weekly and daily rates.
UNIQUE:
Where you might make two separate bookings in two different houses with other providers, with fi.nl you can book several homes in the same booking site. That is quite unique and says something about the sophisticated technology behind the site is. Moreover, as no double booking fee or cost of insurance policy occurs.
BOOKS IN 5 EASY STEPS:
STEP 1: Select Property
You choose the property you want to book and enter the total number of people that want to stay in the house.
Then you have the option to "add extra house" or to continue.
STEP 2: Insurance and extras
Note: In STEP 1, afterwards you will see a "receipt" on the left side in which the price and eventual additional costs such as, booking fee, cancellation insurance and taxes appear.
In STEP 2 you will have the option of the insurance options to adjust to your wishes. Additionally you can specify whether you want to take your pet and if you want to rent bed linen. There is still a comments field for any additional requirements.
STEP 3: Data main booker
The main contact person (minimum age 18yrs) fills his / her data here.
STEP 4: Co-Travelers
Based on the number of people specified in Step 1 name fields are created for each person. If you purchase your insurance it is your responsibility that all data is correct.
STEP 5: Confirmation
In this step, check all the details again and agree to the booking conditions. After the reservation is submitted, the thank you page appears where a link has been made to your booking confirmation, which also contains your PROVISIONAL reservation number. You can also print this page.
INVOICE:
Despite great care it remains possible that some entries still need an owner's final approval. Hence we have to double-check your reservation the next day and in under normal circumstances, your booking confirmation / invoice will then be sent via e-mail copy. Here a link will be included to your bill as a PDF document. The payment terms are stated herein.
